What I'm working on right now

Party details

Adventure music videos

A video for every song: real footage of the band playing, cut with AI-made adventure scenes for the hero characters.

This week Researched the video tools and mapped out the first one, for the song Nails.

A year of daily videos

Three videos a day for a year, from my session films, Friday songs and archive.

This week The campaign started Monday and posts every day.

My YouTube

Gongyo practice videos

Long-form chanting videos for Buddhist practice, some set to tones and long loops.

This week The whole series is scheduled: one every Tuesday from November 3 to March 2.

Everything I've made

One archive of my records, companies, software and shows, going back twenty years.

This week It's built, and deep-dive pages are rolling out project by project.

Tiny Records royalty portal

My label's portal, where every artist logs in and sees their own royalty statements.

This week Running since July.

The Recording Club

The Recording Club

Rehearsal Room 2

A second rehearsal room at the club.

This week Black Roman clay goes on the walls this week, one step a day.

LightDesk

The lighting software I built for the live room: tap a scene and the whole rig follows.

This week Version 2 runs on two screens, with a real photo of every scene.

The staff app

The app my team runs the club from: shifts, tasks, training and sign-offs.

This week Every approval now lands in one tray, with approve and deny right there.

Member check-ins

An early heads-up when a member stops coming in, so we reach out before they drift away.

This week Running since Tuesday and already flagged its first members.

Battery power for the club

A battery and limiter that keep the club's power use under a set peak.

This week Deciding between a battery and a simpler limiter, starting with a check of the building's power service.

Quarterly board meeting

The club's board meets every quarter to review how things are going.

This week Picking a date in late October or early November.

Tools I'm building

Claude Grid

My AI operations room: a wall of Claude agents I run from my phone, each one on its own project.

This week It now turns on the mic the moment it opens, so I can talk to it hands-free.

Grok on the road

A direct line between Grok on my phone and my own AI at home, so I can keep working from the car.

This week Built Wednesday, and it's how I'm running things on the road this week.

Hermes, fully local

An open-source AI agent that runs entirely on my own Mac, locked down, nothing in the cloud.

This week Installed Wednesday, running a local model that already knows my projects.

Notation

My own music notation software, built so I can write scores from the keyboard.

This week The first version is out as a Mac app you can download.

notation.gregspero.com

Cadence

My practice tracker: it runs my daily practice routine, with a guided meditation built in.

This week The meditation player shipped, and the iPhone beta keeps playing with the screen locked.

Community

Fix Santa Monica

A petition to get people off the streets in Santa Monica: enforce the laws we have and fund the beds.

This week The site is live and collecting signatures from residents.

Sign the petition

Summit in Napa
